Well, what a day / night. Ended up staying up till 4am playing with Java because it didnt want to work. Got up at 8 for OSM, and piddled around with Linux till 11. Got Andy Young to submit me for the Sun Microsystems placement Which is good. Had a HCI lecture, and then went to the staff/student committee, which was….alien to me, to say the least. Learned quite a lot though, and thought i contributed quite well! As i was walking out i got a phone call from INTEL! Thats right, Industry leading chip designer Intel, wow, asking me to go to an interview. How good. I reviewed the documentation they sent me, and its in SWINDON! Thats bloody Reading area. I.e London. Ive got to be there at 9.30am, which means either going down the night before and staying in a travel inn, or getting up at 5am and travelling down on the day. Now this is a challenge, but one im happy to take up. Anyone want to come down the night before with me (Women preferably lol), go for a meal or something, so im not lonely and scared! heh.
