In other news, ended up having Emma round last night for a revival of the ‘not so old days’ lol Ended up carrying on drinking after she wimped out at 2, after which i argued with Louise for a while again lol…. Anyway, got up and went to my lecture after 5 hours sleep and it lasted 25 minutes out of a god damned 2 hours, so i didnt need to go on. NOT Impressed. Bah humbug.

Well, Lectures started again today. After nearly physically dragging Matt to our lecture (Mobile Networking) i found that there were only us 2 and another lad in it, ALL TOGETHER. Very..surreal. Ah well, ‘i get my moneys worth’ this way lol. Anyway, 2 hours of that and i jetted back to the Irwell. Just dossing now while we sort out what were doing later on, either out on the lash or to bed, cos im up at 8am for a double java lecture.

Quick tech update: Changed it so my server is now a dedicated NAS only, attached to my XP box, meaning its more secure (XP box has hardware firewalling for one). Need to buy more HDD space though, anyone know any good deals? Also got my Freeview box setup, so its all gravy. =]

Heh, Well my mum and dad went to my brothers parents evening the other day and met my old Mentor, Mr Fisher. Anyone who knows me knows this guy is one of the reasons i am where i am today, he’s incredible. You’ve never met a sounder guy but fk me, get on the wrong side and you’ll know it. Anyway, in true Fisher fashion he said to give me a slap round the back of my head lol Ive told my brother to give him my number so we can have a chat sometime and catch up, bearing in mind i havent seen the fella in 4 years! Viva La Fisher!

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, thats the sound of me being happy that ive done something, WELL before its due. Fully working, completely overdone Memory Game, implementing multi-levels, non-volatile scoring system and a league table, all VERY nicely set out in GUI with functionality to boot.

I love it, Java has never been so easy. Roll on Semester 2 baby.

Well, after spending 3 hours arguing with Louise over…nothing, i checked the forums at Uni and found a message saying that Lowrys, the only SU bar left, has burnt down. Nightmare. Now call me suspicious, but neither has burnt down / out of action’d in…20-40 years, and all of sudden both in a week? Smells of i-n-s-u-r-a-n-c-e job lol (dont sue me SU, twas a joke). We went down at 4am with Matt, Joe, Connor and Connors mate and it is well, a shit storm, the whole thing is gone, its just black infrastructure beams. Nightmare. Ah well, my Liver is grateful.

Well, im back inside the Castle, although nobodys up to much tonight, yawn. Might be having a drunken visitor at 2am, if i’m lucky Could do with some cheering up, some things dont work out, and this day is one of them, although my experience in life has taught me one valuable thing, think of the positives, so thats what im doing, lol. You wont understand what im on about, well most of you wont.

Well, life is gooooood, as the title says. Its sunny, just had my hair cut, Coursework has done itself, and its just a generally good day! Going back to uni in a bit, its alright being home but its boring when theres nothing to do!
